Here are some tips on how to take care of your skin after dermal active facial -
- Avoid touching your face: To reduce the risk of infection or irritation, avoid touching your face.
- Apply a gentle moisturiser if needed. Your skin may feel slightly dry or tight after the oxygen facial, so it’s essential to apply a gentle moisturiser to hydrate and nourish the skin if that’s the case.
- Avoid sun exposure: Avoid direct sun exposure for at least a week after the oxygen facial, as your skin may be more sensitive to the sun’s rays. If you must go outside, wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF 30 (at least) and reapply every two hours.
- Avoid hot water: Avoid hot showers, baths, or saunas for at least 24 hours after the oxygen facial. Hot water can irritate the skin and cause redness or inflammation.
- Avoid exfoliation: Avoid using any exfoliating products, such as scrubs or acids, for at least a week after the oxygen facial. Your skin may be more sensitive than usual, and exfoliating can cause irritation or redness.
- Drink plenty of water: Drinking plenty of water after the oxygen facial can help hydrate the skin and promote healing. Have a goal of drinking at least eight glasses of water per day.
- Don’t wash your face with skin care for 24 hours
- If you’re going to put water on your first please wait 5 hours minimum. Reminder : No hot water directly on the face.
- Avoid make up for 24 hours
- Avoid touching and picking at treated area.
- Avoid vigorous workouts and sweating for 24- 48 hours
- Avoid waxing and hair removal for 14 days
- Avoid further peels IPL, laser and cosmeceutical facial treatments for 14 days
- Avoid botox and fillers for 14 days
- No active ingredients for a minimum of 5 days.
